  2. Leave the oil overnight.

Cucumbers are soothing and refreshing so they are completely equipped to get rid of those dark circles in no time. 

What You Have To Do: 

  1. Cut a cucumber into thick slices and cool it for thirty minutes. 
  2. Place the slices of cucumber on to the dark circles for ten minutes. 
  3. After ten minutes wash the area thoroughly with water. 
  4. Repeat this process twice a day for one to two weeks to see the results. 

Raw Potatoes: 

Potatoes consist of natural bleaching agents and when used raw, they lighten the dark circles and reduce the puffiness around your eyes. 

What You Have To Do: 

  1. Grate a couple of chilled potatoes and extract its juice. 
  2. Soak a cotton ball into the potato juice and place it over your closed eyes. 
  3. Allow the juice to sit for about fifteen minutes and then rinse your eyelids well. 
  4. Repeat this procedure once or twice daily to see the results. 

Rose Water: 

Rose Water not only rejuvenates the skin and reduces dark circles but it also has a soothing effect on your tired eyes. It also works as an amazing skin toner. 

What You Have To Do: 

  1. Soak a cotton eye pad in the rose water for a few minutes. 
  2. Place the soaked pads on your closed eyelids for fifteen minutes. 
  3. Repeat this process twice daily for two to three weeks to see the results. 


Tomatoes are known to naturally have powerful bleaching properties that can help lighten skin very effectively and hence get rid of dark circles. 

What You Have To Do: 

  1. Mix one teaspoon of tomato juice with one and a half teaspoon of lemon juice. 
  2. Apply this mixture on your dark circles and allow it to sit for ten minutes. 
  3. Rinse the mixture off with cold water. 
  4. Follow this procedure for two to three weeks to see the results. 

These simple home remedies will help you get rid your dark circles in a short period of time. You should also take care of yourself by giving yourself a proper amount of sleep and try to stay stress-free. Creams and products for dark circles will not help your skin in the long run as they contain chemicals and harmful ingredients.
